Matt Drudge on drudgereport.com is reporting that Rush has signed a deal through 2016 worth $400 million dollars. According to this report this places Rush well ahead of the big tv network earners. Wow… is rush the most powerful man in media?

I started listening to Rush when I worked out of a Honeywell District Office in Elk Grove Illinois back in the 90s. The Techs had Rush on and I’m still a devoted follower of Rush.

Congratulation Rush. I have heard you say many times that the people who __EARN_ the big bucks is what provides jobs in our capitolistic society. I agree with that premise. I never earned over 23,000 a year when I worked but I was able to raise two childern with the help of my wife and being conservative with my earnings. I was able to plan for my retirement and I was always advised to use the 75% target for what I would need. I was able to do just that. I am 70 years old and I have been retired for eight years and thanks to good health and ( I know you won’t like this) social security I still have $20,000 plus anually to spend. I that I do. I do put money aside in my OWN medical savings account to pay the medical cost when they come and I know they will soon. When I have to spend it on medical needs I hope that I will still be able to hear you every day I am recuperating. KEEP THE AIRWAYS HUMMING AND KEEP THE LIBERALS ON THE RUN. I have listened on and off for years (Work does get in the way sometimes) and have giggled at his over-the-top silliness meant to wake up the listeners. I take offense to those who equate his pointed wit with an inflated ego. Not true! I think he is lucky to absolutely love what he does and he is really good at it! (I do have a crush on the Rushbo) But honestly, he has earned every penny of that money! My 82 year old Dad listens and loves it!
