Time Magazine Insults WWII VETS

Has the Global Warming crowd gone to far? Is nothing more sacred than their little crisis? By the way…. I didn’t realize there was a WAR on Global Warming.
I don’t think the Iwo Jima veterans are too happy with this, nor would the entire American Army. A tree replacing the American Flag. I’ve never understood liberals “love” of trees. I believe it was Rush Limbaugh that said: “the best thing about a tree is what you do with it after you cut it down”.
So let me ask you - did TIME magazine go to far on this one?

Just like all liberals, Time belittles the accomplishments of thousands of hero’s who gave their all for this Country. What would these veterans think? I’d like to see the weenie-wagers from Time put it all on the line for us the same way they did back in WWII. What a laugh! We’d all be speaking a different language right now.

This is an absolute discrace. that flag on Iwo Jima was cast in stone in its format and is a direct insult to be taken away and be replaced by that tree.
Globle Warming is a fact but this is not the proper method to advertise the problem, by Time or any other format.

I’m not surprised at Time, and I’m a former Marine.
Time is doing what putrid little socialist Nazi’s do– try to incite anger from law abiding, peace loving citizens.
What surprises me is why didn’t they portray these Marines in the nude, trying to raise a giant dildo instead of a common tree?
Maybe then, the people would be shaken back into reality and stop spending their money on trash like Time Magazine.

My brother was one of those who took Iwo Jima. I see no connection between this ‘tree’ incident and the great sacrifice made by our military people when they put the precious flag of the USA on Iwo Jima. I guess one needs to be there. To me the tree looks more like a carrot, what a group of idiots at Time magazine,who have probably never risked anything let alone their lives for this country. janice

I stopped reading Time magazine over 30 years ago. What else would you expect from this far left liberal rag? But this is lower then they have ever stooped before. It’s a mockery to our country and the brave men and women who protect us from harm. The Time editor should be flogged and deported to Iran or North Korea or Siberia. Any one who doesn’t like living here under the conditions that exist should pack their bags and move on.

I am the proud Mother of an active duty Army Ranger with 6 deployments, and the Daughter of a wonderful man who bravely fought in WWll. My heart breaks to see such a sight! Is there nothing sacred anymore? These Time people are the very ones that would have no idea what it means to lay ones life down for his friends. I saw the man who started the weather channel and he said that global warming is a scam. What he had to say was very interesting and made more since than Gore’s out look.I never read Time and sure I never will. My Dad fought in WWI and the stories he tells are very hard to listen to. How they had to hunt for food plus fight in very cold weather.The hardships he suffered to keep us free and to come back home to his family. I think when you disgrace our military and our flag it should be an act of treason and made to leave this country. GOD BLESS AMERICA AND OUR TROOPS!!!

A thought, I think most of it was done out of greed. A way for them to be in the so called social lime light. I know i wouldnt have looked at the magazine cover if not for doing it now. It is in a negative way, but im looking at it. I dont think Time magazine should be able to copy a moment in time, and reform it to their liking. Everyone has a options but no one does anything! Well here is my plain write an email to Time Magazine, flood them with your anger, tell them you are boycotting the magazine. Call and email your Governor, the Whitehouse, email/call your friends and let them know about the boycott, one person can make a defenses remember what Rosa Parks did. (off the subject do you know how to cut gas Prices? If you everyone in the US stop buying gas on the weekends, just fill up your gas tank on Friday and do not fill it up on the weekends. After a few weeks this will get the oil company’s to take notice and us government to, supplies and demand, remember what Rosa Parks did she refused to give up her seat on a segregated bus, sparking the Montgomery, Alabama, bus boycott. If you don’t already know of Ron Paul and you want to keep our Constitution and our American Republic, then you might want to take a little time to google his name and once you realize he is what you are looking for, you can make an intelligent vote. Just because McCain will get the Republican nomination doesn’t mean you can’t vote for Ron Paul! Remember, the Dumbocrats got McCain nominated because they believe they can beat him in the race, they are scared to death of Ron Paul and his campaign which is why they won’t even say his name in the media. Let’s put government back in it’s place and out of our personal affairs. If you don’t know and understand our Constitution, how are you supposed to cast an intelligent vote? Hillary, Obama or McCain don’t care about the Constitution or America, they want to be rid of those things and have one government, one law, one money and one court for the globe. Only a dilusional idiot would think that that would work in a world full of different cultures and beliefs. And only tyrants would attempt to make it happen! Any one who wants to change our Constitution is seeking to have a little or a lot more control over us. Why else would government need to change anything in a document that gaurantees freedom and liberty to the People of America and keeps government bound down by the restrictions placed on it in the Constitution? Their jurisdiction is 10 square miles around the White House, known as Washington D.C. and any military forts in the 50 states. That’s it!!! Must they, I mean really, there are better ways to get your point accross leftwing nut Time. I think the brain washing of people about global warming has taken another level of assurdness. I like trees and love the environment but not to the extent that laws and regulations end up harming the world and people more because egghead indiviuals think they have the answers. I love how converting corn to ethanol has had ripple effects on food prices and supply and uses more energy then it produces. People will starve because the eggheads think they know best. Another example is how egghead ideas cause more pollution then solve it, i.e. regular light bulbs for florescent ones pouring mercury into our landfill and into our water supply. A picture of the Sun on the front page would be more apt because it’s a very over active Sun that’s causing the warming and our potential doom. Just ask why the planet Mars is heating up, they don’t have anybody effecting the environment up there. The Eggheads are fooling you all.

Obama, nobody really knows, married and associated himself with people who don’t like America; and he is more liberal than Hilary. This is an example of the bad job that our patriots have done in educating generations. There are too many college students that have no idea of the significance of the flag being raised on that occasion. We have neglected to keep our heritage alive.
Today students are aware that the United States is the only country that dropped the atomic bomb. It is portrayed as a terrible act and not as an act of mercy to prevent the thousands of deaths of Japanese civilians and American troops. They have no clear knowledge of the Bataan March. They have no idea of the horrific conditions our troops had to endure as the Japanese forced them walk sick and malnourished; shooting them if they could not keep up.
That is why people put up pictures like this one. They fail to see the significance of the symbols of the suffering and great accomplishments made by our military.

I wish there was a way to explain to the liberal youngsters the difference between Conservatisim and Liberism. Ca Tx if we did think it is to warm. in places like canada ware 80% of the peolpe live within the lower 200mi of the south border I bet they would like the temp. to get mabey 5 to 10 degrees warmerI lived in Mi along time but the sourthern skies were calling cant stand the that wite shit.

the problem with the cost of the rates going up is the raises in the diesel. i have drove semi’s deliverying freight in 48 of the fifty states and canada. diesel is a by product off the gasoline. most every thing is shipped by trucks. win the diesel goes up to $4.56 cents
it raises everything that is delivered cost the truckers more for diesel witch they raise their rates to ship it. then the companies that ship has to raise their cost, and the
recivers has to raise their prices, then the stores has to raise their cost to the people who has to by it. so we have to pay more for gas and all the things that the trucks ship in. social security if the house and senate would keep from spending it on other thing they would be plenty of money for it. the alaska oil line ships a lot of oil to japan when it could be used right here and open our oil fields and the price would go back down. lock the gas and diesel
at the pumps $2.00 a gallon prices would drop back to normal. taxes goes up i am on social security and we don’t get a cost of living raise i will have to fill bankrupzy we are own a fixed income our cost of living raise last jan. 2008 way 2.5 percent tell me what the cost of living really was. conserned will write my own name in for president.

we don’t need clintons medical plan it is like england and canada and it is not good for the older generation.
i know people in canada that cannot aford to wait 6 months or longer to have a sergery done to keep them alife exsept the people have the mony to come to the united states to have the sergery done to stay alife if you don’t have the money you die.

i belive in this country i don’t trust our government, when our forfathers wrote the constition they made it we the people but our govenment has changed it ti we the government knows the best for you and us. i see this country going in places and way in what i am not happy
in. police actions i do not agree with we never have lost a way but we never have won ony police actions. and bush turned his back on israel that is a no no. and god means just what he says. we need to take care of our country and our people first.
the mexicans do they put their people first but our government puts us last.

to change on nov. 22, 1963 my 21 first birthday and i say to this day was when we lost control of our government. i liked john kennedy he made us a good president john and bobbie was both young but was learning how to be good presidents, and president johnson would never have became the president it had to be both john and bobbie had not been killed. we were promised the information on their deaths in 20 years and will still don’t have them today. and never will. untill they prove it to me johnson was right in the middle of it. and our government has taken over this country. this is a great country and i love it with all my heart would give my life for it. they can have my body but god is in charge of my soul, god bless the great nation.

it may be a natral globle warming what the earth does every so offten to clean it self like when we get floods it is natures way of cleaning the farm ponds, the creek and the rivers. when i was in my teens we would go up to the mountains in nothern calif. and drink from the creek while fishing i would not do it now. the biggest part of the fish is not safe to eat. smog it you get a three day holiday where the plants shut down used to be the air would clean itself but now it probly take a month to clean itself. i killed a wild turky about three years ago i had to burn it up i bet i had 1000 plus ticks on it. so i put gas on it in the burning barrow and burned them. and i don’t hunt turkey’s any more. a lot of mercury in our waters that make the fish unsafe to eat.

the most of us are in trying times and for that lafter is the best medican, we all have our ups and downs more in these times. prices are going up except our income. that makes it hard if your not working or have kids to raise. god is where i turn to and ask him to give me the strength to over come. all my kids are gone and i am 65 yrs. but i have god and my wife. which we get along good together we are good for each other. there are days we worry and i try to have fun kidding with her to take the problems away. or start talking about the good times. like being together driving truck over the road for twelve yrs. together a month or more on the road before taking a week off. if you can live in a truck together that long your marriage can go through about anything. i like to tease and kid around i love having fun a family trade i guess. my dad was the same way. we need to push aside our worries and get some fun in our lifes or we will go crazy. no i don’t know everything this is just what i have herd and seen in my years. if you will open you ears and your heart you can have the understanding of what you can do to make things easyer on you and you family. i found out years ago that drinking did not help very long and hang overs are not very good. i never have done drugs so i can’t say what it is like except i used to watch some mexican kids smoke it hold their breath to get high and would fight over the las weed. if that was what it was about so i had my beer. then when i got older i gave up the drinking, i am a long way from being a angel we all have sined, but i pretty much have that taken care of now. this is just a small part of my life. god bless us all and watch over us all. in jesus name i ask.
