You may have heard much of the “buzz” about Oprah lately - and I’m not talking about the Presidential Race. This is much more important.
I’ve heard people speculate about Oprah’s faith and beliefs for a while now. She was pretty hard to peg down. The video below may help shed some light on the subject. This is just one of many videos online discussing the subject. Watch it, and answer this question: DOES OPRAH DENY JESUS?
I just watched PASSION OF THE CHRIST. Yep, that’s right. It’s been around for quite a while, and I finally watched it. There has been much heated-discussion around this movie. After watching it, I have to admit, it did make a difference to me as a Christian.
Some of the common reasons people give for not watching it are:
- it’s too violent
- I already know what Jesus did for me
- This is just some man’s version of Jesus death
After watching it, here are serious benefits:
- I finally “get it” (at least a little), of what Jesus did for me
- I FELT his love and agony. His death for me has always been just a matter-of-fact thing, without emotion. This imagery brought in real emotion - something I needed to appreciate it.

With the big story in New York and the country being the Elliott Spitzer scandal, we here at TalkRadioInsiders.com ask the question: What’s the big deal about Prostitution?
I’ve heard people saying that we are to uptight, and that really Prostitution should be legal.
Think of the benefits…
- we could easily test for STD’s of all prostitutes
- prostitutes could be proud of their occupation
- government could raise tax revenue
- people wouldn’t have to ‘feel’ guilty about their actions
- parties would be more fun
But with all this being said, there is one BIG reason I am against it….. Tell me what you think it is? This really isn’t too hard.
Talk Radio will be (or already has) exploded with outrage over a recent California court ruling: making homeschooling nearly impossible for some. It seems that the court is saying that children must be taught in public schools, private schools or by a “credentialed” tutors at home.
This huge story, brings the HomeSchooling debate to the forefront again. And with that some big questions can be asked:
1. Is HomeSchooling wrong?
2. Are homeschooled children better educated?
3. Are homeschooled children socially akward/strange?
Here are the answers as I see it….
1. No!
2. Generally speaking - yes.
3. They are socially different, but this may be a good thing!
